KEY CUTTING
At H Harrold and Sons Ltd we can cut a large range of keys including all types of security keys, dimple keys, household keys and restricted profile keys. We have invested in state-of-the-art machinery to provide a service where we can provide our customers with a one-stop shop for all your key cutting services.
Security Cylinder Keys
Security cylinder keys are keys that offer a level of protection over standard household keys, known as a yale type keys. They indicate that the lock cylinder is to a particular security rating. This can be a British Kite Mark, a 1 Star or a 3 Star rated cylinder.

Cutting these types of keys require sophisticated machinery, something we have invested in here at H Harrold and Sons. Brands such as Ultion, Yale, Millenco, Cisa and Mul-T-Lock have these type of security keys. We are able to cut all these types in house whilst you wait.

Household
Keys
Mortice Keys
Mortice keys can be made from brass, steel or a mixed metal. They suit locks that can be fitted externally and internally. There are mortice locks that contain 2, 3 and 5 levers.
Standard Cylinder Keys
Cylinder keys can fit a vast range of locks, mainly Euro/Oval cylinders, lockers and padlocks. There are thousands of key profiles manufactured to suit different lock brands and lock styles.
Window Handle Keys
We stock a large range of window handle keys. These are mainly pre-cut, but some do require cutting to pattern. If you have lost your window key, we can try and identify the key from an image of your window handle lock.
Desk Draw Keys
Similar to locker keys, these can be cut to code. The code will be etched on the face of the lock barrel.

Locker Keys
Have you lost your locker key? Most locker locks have a number etched onto the face of the lock. We can enter that number in to our software and cut you a new key to code.
